Lafayette County C-I Middle School
Award Winning Art
The Lafayette County C-I Middle School is proudly displaying new award winning student artwork. Each year artwork that receives the People's Choice Art Award and the Principal's Choice Art Award from the middle school are proudly displayed for others to view in two different locations. The newest works of art are first displayed for one year in the middle school office. After the first year, those two works of art are then moved out to the middle school art gallery to be kept on display until those students graduate from high school. At that time the students may then take their artwork home.
The 2012 People’s Choice Art Award, a mixed media illustration of colored pencil, crayon, and conte’ pencil created by Caitlyn Engel, and the 2012 Principal’s Choice Art Award, a colored conte’ pencil and pastel illustration created by Erica Preus are now both proudly displayed in the middle school office for the 2012-2013 school year.
